North Jackson Car Show Sunday is benefit

NORTH JACKSON

The first North Jackson Car Show, hosted by North Jackson Car Care, will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at First Federated Church, 10786 Mahoning Ave. Any vehicles are welcome.

Registration will take place at the event. Cost is $10. Prizes, including a Kid’s Choice and a Best-in-Show awards, will be distributed. Concessions, 50-50 raffles, door prizes and a basket auction will be offered.

All proceeds benefit programs at First Federated Church. They include Mother Hubbard’s Cupboard, a food pantry, and the Kid’s Pantry, a group that donates school supplies to needy kids.
