Dave Matthews Band takes to the stage Summer tour takes fans ‘Away from the World’

For nearly a quarter of a century, the Dave Matthews Band has been crashing into audiences and doing its “Jimi Thing” all summer long.

Now the seminal jam band continues its tour in support of last year’s new album, “Away From the World.” The group will perform Friday at First Niagara Pavilion near Pittsburgh, and Saturday at Blossom Music Center outside of Cleveland.
