SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR Kelsey Kalasky, a graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School and a senior at Youngstown State University, received a scholarship recently from the Catholic Collegiate Association. The CCA met at Michael Alberini’s Restaurant in Boardman to present the award to Kalasky, who is a business management major. The association, founded in 1927 in Youngstown, awards scholarships annually. Those participating in the presentation were, from left, Barbara Banks, CCA vice president; Cathy Campana, president; Mary Place Thomas, scholarship chairwoman; and Kalasky.
