Will Smith and his son, Jaden Smith, star in the new sci-fi thriller “After Earth,” which opens in theaters Friday. Here are five other examples of fathers and sons in the same movie:

v Stillers: The comedic father-and-son duo Ben and Jerry Stiller starred in plenty of films together including “The Heartbreak Kid,” “Zoolander,” “Heavyweights” and “Hot Pursuit.”

v Douglas clan: Three generations of the Douglas clan—Kirk, Michael and Cameron—starred together in “It Runs in the Family” (2003).

v Bridges: Lloyd Bridges plays the uncle of his son Jeff in “Blown Away” (1994).

v Sutherlands: Donald and Kiefer Sutherland both starred side by side in “Max Dugan Returns” and thriller “A Time to Kill.”

v Sheens: Charlie and Martin Sheen both starred in “Cadence” (1989) and “Wall Street” (1987).

“The American Baking Competition” (8 p.m., CBS): Bakers face off and the grand prize is a lot of dough.

“Love Thy Neighbor” (9 p.m., OWN): “Love Thy Neighbor” is a new sitcom from prolific producer Tyler Perry. It chronicles life at The Love Train Diner, a family-run restaurant that serves up great meals, along with some laughs.

“Manhunt: BOSTON BOMBERS” (9 P.M., PBS): “Manhunt: Boston Bombers” is the latest edition of “Nova.” It takes viewers through the pursuit of the two suspects in the deadly Boston Marathon bombing and examines the role technology played in the search.

“Psych” (10 p.m., USA): Season 7 ends tonight.

Engine exhibit open to tours

CANFIELD

The public is invited to a free tour of an internal combustion engine display at the home of local collector Norm Anderson, 7281 Akron-Canfield Road, at 10 a.m. Saturday. The tour is open to adults and teens who are interested in seeing how an internal combustion engine works.

Anderson has been an avid enthusiast and collector of these engines for 40 years, and his collection includes functioning engines from 1897 through 1920. People interested in the tour must call the Canfield Historical Society at 330-533-3458 and leave their name and number of people attending.

Timberlake tickets go on sale Monday

Justin Timberlake will come to Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland Dec. 12, and Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh Dec. 14. Tickets for both shows go on sale at 10 a.m. Monday at theqarena.com for Clevleland and live-nation.com for Pittsburgh.

YSU band seeks majorettes, twirlers

YOUNGSTOWN

The YSU Marching Band will have auditions for majorette and feature twirler positions for incoming freshmen and current students in Stambaugh Stadium’s Gym A. The first session will be at 5 p.m. June 14 to learn the routine. The auditions will be at 9 a.m. June 15.
