Theater to present ‘Boeing, Boeing’
New Castle, Pa.
“Boeing, Boeing,” directed by Paul Angelucci, will open Friday at the New Castle Playhouse, 212 E. Long Ave.
The comedy follows a successful architect living in Paris who believes he can easily cope with his three stewardess fiancees. Unfortunately, schedules change, flights are delayed and a new turbo-charged Boeing aircraft is introduced, causing chaos.
The comedy will run for nine performances. Friday and Saturday shows start at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday matinees at 2 p.m.

Arts Mean Business session scheduled
YOUNGSTOWN
Youngstown State University’s College of Fine & Performing Arts and the community arts and cultural group Power of the Arts will hold the second in a series of events aimed at the business side of the arts.
The Arts Mean Business is a four-part professional development series designed to help artists thrive.
The next session, The Arts Mean Business: Really They Do! will be Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Raymond John Wean Foundation, 147 W. Market St., Warren.
The guest speaker will be Robb Hankins, President and CEO of ArtsinStark, the county arts council based in Canton.
Hankins has spent the past 30 years directing city, county and state arts agencies in eight states. He has managed annual arts campaigns, arts festivals, public art projects, arts education programs and downtown arts districts.
