JUNE SNAPZ: Happy Huggers

Observed every year on June 29, the Hug Holiday is likely one of the lesser-known observances but could easily make the biggest impact on someone.

The day is intended to encourage everyone to give hugs to those who need them. Think about it. With medical studies supporting the benefits that come from something as simple as a hug, everyone needs them!

With that in mind, dig out your favorite picture for our June feature, “Happy Huggers.”

We’ll publish a few of the ones we receive in our Sunday, June 2, edition, and they’ll all be posted on our website.
