2 women injured in Bazetta crash

Troopers at the Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Warren Post are investigating a two-vehicle crash that injured two.

The crash occurred about 5:20 p.m. Monday on state Route 305 at North Park Avenue.

A Pontiac Grand Am, driven by Alyssa Mymo, 22, of Warren was southbound on North Park and failed to stop at a stop sign at Route 305, the patrol reported. That vehicle was struck by a Saturn Aura driven by Barbara Wooldridge, 76, of Warren. She was traveling east on Route 305. Both women were taken to area hospitals,

Mymo was cited for failing to stop at a stop sign,

Route 305 was closed to through traffic for about an 1.5 hours while the scene was cleared. Bazetta police, fire and EMS as well as Champion Police and EMS and the Trumbull County Sherirf’s office assisted troopers.
