OSP arrests three Youngstown men on drug charges

Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers from the Canfield Post arrested three Youngstown men early Monday on felony drug charges.

Troopers seized several bags of suspected cocaine, crack cocaine, pills, heroin and marijuana following a traffic stop on Interstate 80. Troopers stopped the car for speed at 3:25 a.m. A news release from OSP said the vehicle was traveling 113 mph in a 65 mph zone.

A police dog checked the vehicle and the suspected drugs were fund.

The driver, Alden Young and passengers Shane Overton and Michael R. Stanley, all 21, were charged with felony drug possession and housed in the Mahoning County Jail. Young is also charged with aggravated drug trafficking.
