Katlin McDermott and Walton Gouldin, both of Olympia, Wash., were married in a late afternoon ceremony Dec. 29, 2012, at St. Christine Church.

The Rev. Christopher Cicero presided over the rite, and a reception followed at the Maronite Center.

The bride is the daughter of William and Cheryl McDermott of Austintown, and the groom is the son of Richard and Susan Gouldin of Warsaw, Va.

Wearing black gowns were Meghan McDermott, the bride’s sister, who was maid of honor, and bridesmaids Rachel Terzak, Amanda Williamson, Danielle Hogue and Elizabeth Tilbury.

The bride graduated from Westminster College with a bachelor’s degree in history.

The groom graduated with a degree in systems engineering from the United States Military Academy. He is a captain in the U.S. Army stationed in Fort Lewis, Wash.
