Couple burglarized

Couple burglarized

boardman

A Boardman couple were victims of an aggravated burglary Thursday night, after they discovered a man dressed in black in their kitchen looking for something on their counter.

The couple was sitting in the living room and heard the doorbell. They checked the back door and nobody was there. It rang again, and this time the husband went to the front door and porch while his wife checked the back door. The husband went outside to the porch, thinking someone needed help.

After a couple of minutes, they found the intruder inside. The wife asked the man what he wanted; he didn’t answer and kept demanding money. The wife then began hitting the intruder with her cane. The man eventually grabbed it, and pushed the husband to the ground. After the intruder left, the husband discovered money missing from his pocket.
