Police investigating Friday night South Side shooting

YOUNGSTOWN — Police are on the scene of a shooting on the city's South Side that sent one man to the hospital.

Police received a call of shots fired shortly after 9 p.m. in the area of Marmion and South avenues. When they arrived, they found a car's windows shot out and several bullet holes in the vehicle.

A man was wounded, and he was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
