Bradley’s Book Outlet in the Southern Park Mall hosted a book signing for local author Jason Webb May 19.
Webb’s first book, “Tim Chance Has Big Dreams,” is an inspirational book for children. Webb, who has been drawing for 30 years, also did the illustrations for the book.
“I did a few illustrations and then the idea for the book came,” said Webb.
Webb’s inspiration for the book came from watching his kids grow up and everyday life.
“I want them to have every opportunity in life,” said Webb. “I draw more than ever and I am really inspired by everything around me.”
Like Tim Chance, Webb also took a risk with his dreams.
“One day I just decided that this was it, I am making my move, what could I lose,” said Webb.
Webb has big plans for the future.
“Some of my best work has come from the idea of trying this book. This book is one of my big dreams and hopefully it’ll be successful,” said Webb.
Jaclyn Iagulli, store manager at Bradley’s Book Outlet said the books has been a success.
“This is the first book I’ve sold 10 copies for in one day.”
Webb offered advice to kids with big dreams.
“Keep trying no matter what anyone says. You can’t achieve yours dreams without putting in the work,” said Webb.

In the future, Webb plans to release two more stories in the Tim Chance series: “Tim Chance vs. The Darkness” and “Tim Chance and the Ultimate Fort.”
