ASSOCIATIONS

American Association of University Women, Youngstown Branch, will meet at 11 a.m. June 1 at the home of Dr. Barbara Brothers. After the business meeting, the following officers will be installed: Jackie Gawron, president; Denise Walters Dobson and Diana Fagan, vice presidents/program; Vilma Kolacz-Belanger, vice president/membership; Jorine Stone and Luanna Jacobs, recording secretary; and Regina Jenkins and Judy Stanger, treasurers. Warren Women’s Connection plans a luncheon from 11:30 a.m to 1:30 p.m. June 10 at DiLucia’s Banquet Room, 2610 Elm Road NE, Warren. The cost is $13 per person; child care is free. The theme is “Slam Dunk.” Cindy Pickens, a professional clarinet player, will entertain, and inspirational speaker will be Rod Truman, whose topic is “Ex-basketball Coach Tells the Story of His Healing.” Male guests are invited. Dublin Grange will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday. Debbie Raver will be in charge, and a memorial program by Sandie Reel is scheduled. New members are welcome.

D.A.R.E. Singles Group meets at 7:30 p.m. each Thursday at Disciples Christian Church, 565 Boardman-Canfield Road. Other activities scheduled are as follows: Monday, Memorial Day picnic from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Masters Pavilion in Boardman Park; Tuesday, dance classes at 7 p.m. at Judy Conti’s in Austintown; Wednesday, meet at 7 p.m. at Dairy Queen in North Lima; Thursday, game night at 7:30 p.m. at the church.

SUPPORT GROUPS

Nar-Anon, a 12-step program for relatives and friends who have been adversely affected by a loved one’s addiction to drugs, meets at 7 p.m. every Friday at Neil Kennedy Recovery Clinic, 160 Clifton NE, Howland. For information call 330-856-3822.
