Girard cops respond to disputes

GIRARD

Police responded to two neighborhood disputes early Monday evening and cited a woman for disorderly conduct in one of them.

At 7:26 p.m., police were called to 726 S. Davis St. to take a report on children cutting through a woman’s yard. As the officer was finishing, a neighbor later identified as Tiffany Morgan, 35, of Church Hill Road came up the driveway and began berating the neighbor in front of the officer.

She would not give her name despite being asked to do so three times. She walked away and was asked for her name again, and she gave her name and address and was cited, reports said.

At 8:25 p.m., a neighbor at 114 W. Howard St. called police and said a neighbor across the street was shouting obscenities at her through a megaphone. Officers went to that house, and the woman said the megaphone was her daughter’s.

The officer told the neighbor to put the megaphone away and that a report would be filed.
