Red Cross accepting monetary donations for Oklahoma tornado victims

The American Red Cross of the Mahoning Valley is accepting monetary donations only to its Disaster Relief Fund to help Oklahoma tornado victims.

People can donate money in several ways:

Go online to the Red Cross Web site, www.redcross.org, and click on “Donations.”

Text the word “disaster” to 90999 to automatically donate $10 to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund.

Drop off monetary donations at the chapter headquarters, 661 Mahoning Ave. N.W., Warren, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday; or mail a check or money order to American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund, 661 Mahoning Ave. N.W., Warren, OH 44483. The office does not have facilities to accept donations of food or clothing.
