JCL begins working on Cinderella Ball

The Junior Civic League is preparing for its 58th Annual Cinderella Ball, to take place Nov. 29 at Mr. Anthony’s Banquet Center.

The theme this year is “If You Can See It, Then You Can Be It.”

The JCL is seeking debutantes. Each must be a high school senior during the 2013-2014 school year, have a grade point average of at least 2.0, and must not be a parent.

Applications will be accepted until May 31.

The Cinderella Ball is the group’s largest fundraiser for scholarships.

The JCL has awarded more than $540,000 in total.

Miss Cinderella will have the choice of a cash prize of $400 or a $2,500 scholarship to the accredited college of her choice.
