St. James COGIC sets Youth Explosion events

YOUNGSTOWN

St. James Church of God in Christ, 75 S. Prospect St., will conduct its annual Youth Explosion events.

A gospel skate fellowship is planned from 5 to 8 p.m. July 14 at Skate Connnection, Tiffany Boulevard, Boardman.

Tickets are $5 in advance and $8 at the door; skate rental is an additional $3.

A “Raise the Praise” program will take place at 7 p.m. July 19 at the church with mime and puppetry ministries performing.

The event is free.

A banquet is planned at 7 p.m. July 20 at St. Stephen of Hungary Church hall, 854 Wilson Ave., with evangelist Martha Taylor as guest speaker and Christian comedian Latayna Foster providing entertainment.

Tickets are $10.

A king and queen will be named.
