Rural Life Museum to open for season

MERCER, Pa.

The Mercer County Historical Society’s Rural Life Museum will open for the season Sunday. It will be open every Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. throughout the summer and into the fall. Curator Dale Boyd will be available as a tour guide. To set up visits at other times, call 724-662-3490.

Farmers market seeks vendors

LAKE MILTON

The Lake Milton Farmers Market is seeking farmers who want to sell their produce. The market will be from 9 a.m. to noon Saturdays from June through September on the amphitheater lawn at Lake Milton State Park in Craig Beach. Interested produce vendors can pick up an application at the park office on Mahoning Avenue or call the park at 330-654-4989.

Only local produce can be sold at the market. Items made from natural products, including honey and goat- milk soap, are welcome.

Spanish heritage group plans dance

Youngstown

The Youngstown Spanish Heritage Festival committee will host Noche Tropical night at 7 p.m. Saturday at the OCCHA Hall, 3660 Shirley Road. The dance will include Latin and American music, cash bar and a salsa contest. Admission is $5.

The festival will be Aug. 17-18, downtown.
