Thieves posed as Warren cops, victim says

WARREN

A 34-year-old Youngstown salesman reported that two males took items from his business vehicle after identifying themselves as police officers while he was in the parking lot of a South Street laundromat at 11 a.m. Thursday.

The men showed badges and guns, the victim said. They took seven stun guns valued at $210.

The men told the salesmen their names, but police said the names were not known to the Warren Police Department.
