ALLIANCES

Ohio Cultural Alliance will have its next meeting at 6 p.m. June 3 at St. George Croatian Lodge, 3600 Vestal Road, Youngstown. Betty Beelen will present “Old World Traditions: Lost and Retained — Croatian.” There will be a Croatian meal. Cultural enrichment will be provided by two Tamburitza musical groups, one directed by Libby Fill and the other by Kathy Zadravec. Those attending are asked to take paper products to the meeting. Memberships, which run from September to June, continue at $25 per person, and the cost for each meeting is $15 for paid members and $20 for nonmembers. ASSOCIATIONS

Goldwing Road Riders Association Chapter M’s monthly chapter gathering will take place May 25 at Yankee Kitchen, 6635 Market St., Boardman. Dinner will take place at 5 p.m., and the gathering, at 6. May’s theme will be Memorial Day.

That Quilt Group I Belong To will have its May meeting Tuesday at Fair Park in Canfield. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the meeting will begin at 7. The topic of the meeting is UFO. Members swapped unfinished quilting projects at the December meeting and should take the finished projects to the May meeting.
