Neighbors | Submitted.The Boardman Center Middle School track team won the overall title at the Waldo Ward Invitational Relays on May 6 in Columbiana.

The Boardman Center Middle School track team won the overall title at the Waldo Ward Invitational Relays May 6 in Columbiana.

The boys team came in first overall, winning the mid-distance relay, the sprint relay, the distance relay, the 4x400-meter relay and the 4x200-meter relay.

Our girls team placed third overall.

The BCMS boys and girls 4x200 meter relay teams were honored to receive the Waldo Ward Invitational Special Recognition Award in honor of their winning times in the 800 meter relay event.

The boys finished in a time of 1:44 and the girls team won with a time of 1:55.
