Austintown Colts registration set

Registration for the Austintown Colts Youth Football organization’s 2013 season will be held May 25 and June 8 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Austintown Township Hall, 82 Ohltown Road. Registration is open to all Austintown residents and Austintown School students from ages 6-12. Children must provide a photo copy of their birth certificate and open enrollment acceptance letter for 2013/2014 school year, if necessary. Memorial mile race set

The 23rd annual Memorial Mile running road race will be May 27 at 9:35 a.m. in Boardman. The race will start at Routes 22 and 7. In this one-mile road race, some of the best runners in the area will compete for gift certificates and awards in 14 age groups. The entry fee is $8 in advance and $10 on the day of race. Runners 11 and under are free with pre-registration.

Entry forms, day of race registration, and packets can be picked up at Walgreens at Route 224 and Route 7. Little Falcons golf outing set

The Austintown Little Falcons Golf Outing will be May 26 at Pines Lake Golf Club in Hubbard. Registration will be from 7 to 8 a.m. and a shotgun start will be at 8:30 a.m. The outing will be done in a four-person scramble format. The cost is $70 per golfer and includes 18 holes, golf cart, beverages, snacks, breakfast, lunch and a dinner provided by O’Donalds Pub. ALF football, cheerleader registration

Registration for the Austintown Little Falcons football players and cheerleaders will be May 18, June 15 and July 6 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Austintown Township Hall on Ohltown Road.

Boys and girls ages 6-12 are welcome if they are an Austintown resident or attend Austintown schools. New children must provide a copy of their birth certificate. Registration fee is $45 for the first child plus a mandatory $50 fundraiser. Siblings of the same family register free and pay only $10 for the mandatory fundraiser.

The Little Falcons are partnering with C.A.R.E. — Children Are Reunited Everyday — a non-profit organization headed by ALF Coach Antonio Page which will offer children access to certified tutorial and mentorship programs administered by qualified C.A.R.E. Fitch volleyball team hosts camp

The Austintown Fitch volleyball team will host a fifth and sixth-grade volleyball camp on June 13 and 14 and a seventh and eighth-grade camp June 19-21. For more information, contact head coach Steve Mohr at smohrfitchvball@gmail.com.

Fitch hosts youth football camp

Austintown Fitch High School will host a youth football camp on June 19 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Fitch Falcon Stadium. The camp is for kids entering grades three through eight. First 150 students to pre-register will be accepted.

Registration will not be accepted after June 10. Cost is $20. Checks can be made payable to Fitch Football. The camp will include camp T-shirt, individual drills by position, group drills, one-on-one competition, lunch and awards. Students are asked to wear shorts, socks and tennis shoes.

Benefit golf outing set

The Brett Wilcox benefit golf outing will be July 21 at Lakeside Golf Course. Shot gun start will begin at 9 a.m.

The cost is $65 per golfer or $250 for a foursome. Cost includes coffee and doughnuts at registration, lunch, dinner and drinks. Sponsorships are available for $100 for a hole sponsor or $350 for a gold sponsor.

First place will receive $400 and second place $200. In addition, there will be a Chinese auction, 50/50 raffle and a 50-inch TV raffle.
