Patterson guilty in Girard teen's heroin overdose death

James L. Patterson of Youngstown was found guilty today on seven charges, including reckless homicide, in the heroin overdose death of 17-year-old Christine Sheesley of Girard.

He will be sentenced in a week and could get more than 20 years in prison.

The jury of six men and six women deliberated today and Wednesday in the Trumbull County Common Pleas courtroom of Judge Ronald Rice.
