Campbell Memorial 17, Columbiana 4

CAMPBELL

The Red Devils won their first sectional championship since 2009. Brandon Reyes was the winning pitcher, throwing five innings and allowing four runs. The Red Devils pounded out 13 hits. Jeremy Vazquez was 4 for 4 and scored three runs. Stephan Elash, Brandon Reyes, D.J. Rodriguez, and Joel Cruz each had two hits. Reyes and Rodriguez each scored three runs each. Campbell will meet Ursuline in a district semifinal on Tuesday.

South Range 15, Brookfield 5

BEAVER TOWNSHIP

The Raiders ripped 15 hits, including three doubles and two triples, to outslug the Warriors. South Range’s Dan Macinga, Zach Thorpe and Cory Deal each had three hits. Thorpe and Macinga each had three RBIs. The Raiders (21-4) will meet Girard today at 4 p.m.

Girard 4, Crestview 3

COLUMBIANA

Nick Krajcirik had two hits, including the game-winning RBI single to score Kyle Harris in the fifth inning, to help Girard advance to the district semifinals. Harris, who had two hits, reached on a two-out single in the fifth and then stole second before scoring. Evan Standohar also had two hits and Christian Bello (3-0) pitched four no-hit innings of relief, striking out two and walking three. Girard (10-17) will play South Range at Cene Park at 4 p.m. on Tuesday. Crestview is 19-7.

Garfield 10, Grand Valley 2

ORWELL

Nick Kaiser scattered five hits and Tim Schwan doubled twice and drove in three runs as the G-Men (12-13) beat the Mustangs to win a sectional title. Garfield took advantage of eight errors by GV (15-7).

Heartland Christian 5, Leetonia 1

LEETONIA

Nathan Sommers had two hits and drove in three runs as Heartland Christian (13-10) won its first tournament game in the program’s three years. Winning pitcher Phil Bell (2-2) struck out nine and walked four. Heartland Christian will play Springfield today in a sectional final.

Springfield 10, Southern 0

NEW MIDDLETOWN

Sawyer Stevens pitched a one-hitter and struck out six over five innings and the Tigers scored in every inning to beat the Indians. Joe Wrask had three hits, including a double, and Ryan Kohler singled and doubled for Springfield. Eoghan Bees drove in two runs for the Tigers.

Lowellville 3, Western Reserve 1

LOWELLVILLE

Joe Smith pitched a three-hitter and also singled and tripled as the Rockets defeated the Blue Devils. Spiro Schialdone singled twice and drove in two runs for Lowellville (17-6), which will face the winner of a game between Youngstown Christian and Sebring today. Western Reserve dropped to 14-8.

McDonald 13, Lordstown 0

MCDONALD

Mike Schuller struck out 10 and pitched a no-hitter and Mike Raschilla homered, doubled twice and drove in five runs in the Blue Devils’ victory. McDonald (18-4) will meet the winner of a game between Wellsville and Mineral Ridge today in McDonald.

Jackson-Milton 8, Lisbon 2

NORTH JACKSON

Tyler Totani had three hits, including a double, and drove in two runs for Jackson-Milton (16-10), which scored five runs in the bottom of the first inning. Nate Clark added two hits and two RBIs and Jeremy Fitzpatrick doubled and drove in two for the Bluejays, who will play at Warren JFK at 4 p.m. today in the sectional final. Jagr Groubert, Eric Walker and Jordan Everett each had two hits for Lisbon.

Bristol 19, Bloomfield 0

BRISTOLVILLE

The Panthers (9-10) put away the Cardinals early with seven runs in the first inning and 10 in the second. Johnny Simcox and Zach Dibell each had three hits for Bristol. Dibell drove in three runs. Bristol will meet Maplewood today at 4:30 in a sectional final.

Windham 7, Southeast 6

WINDHAM

The Bombers overcame a 5-1 deficit to beat the Pirates in a Portage Trail Conference-County Division game. Matt Knight doubled and tripled for Windham (14-6, 9-3) and Jared Taylor, Cameron Pozsgai and Brad Kowalski each had a double. Zach Morgan homered and doubled for Southeast (16-9, 10-2).
