Two teens robbed at gunpoint while fishing in Lawrence County

SLIPPERY ROCK TOWNSHIP, Pa.

Two teenagers said they were robbed at gunpoint while fishing in Lawrence County, Pa., on Saturday.

Pennsylvania State Police are looking for two suspects whot are accused of approaching Liam D. Hess, 18, of Zelienople, Pa., and Luc Thomas Eppinger, 19, of Harmony, Pa., while the two were fishing at Kennedy Mills on Frew Mill Road.

The teenagers said two suspects asked to borrow a cellphone and when they were given a cellphone, pulled out a small caliber sem-automatic handgun and demanded the suspects to “give them everything they had,” according to a state police report.

The suspects took wallets, money, a backpack and other possessions before fleeing. They also told Hess and Eppinger that if they called the police they would be shot, the report stated.

The first suspect was described as a white male in his early to mid-20s with a medium build and short brown hair. He was about 5-feet to 6-feet tall, the teenagers said, with slight facial hair, slight tan complexion and in possession of a black handgun with some chrome on the barrel.

The other suspect was described as a white male in the same age and height range with short blond hair and a light complexion. He was clean shaven and walked with a walking stick.
