Rachel Rhoads and Dale Murphy, both of Louisburg, N.C., exchanged vows at a 2 p.m. ceremony March 30 at Zion Lutheran Church.
The Rev. Larry Klinker officiated.
A reception followed at Das Dutch Village Inn in Columbiana.
After a cruise to the Bahamas, the couple reside in Louisburg.
The bride is the daughter of Dave and Beth Rhoads of New Middletown, and the groom is the son of Steve and Vicky Murphy of Four Oaks, N.C.
The bride wore a lace A-line strapless gown with a sweetheart neckline adorned with a beaded motif. Her veil featured beaded edging.
Maids of honor were Caitlin and Stacy Rhoads, sisters of the bride. Bridesmaids, wearing plum colored gowns, were Devon Murphy, the groom’s sister; Jessica Huda and Laura Vernon.
Flower girls were Madeline and Piper Laferriere, the groom’s cousins.
The groom’s father performed the duties of best man.
Groomsmen were Eric Creech, Brad Clements, Grantley Mizelle and Michael Sloop.
Connor Murphy, the groom’s nephew, was ring bearer.
Ushers were Dave Frank, the bride’s uncle, and Daniel Casey.
The bride earned a bachelor’s degree in middle childhood education from Youngstown State University. She is an eighth-grade math teacher at Franklin County Schools in Bunn, N.C.
Her husband earned a bachelor’s degree in health and physical education from Barton College and a master’s in physical education teacher education from West Virginia University. He teaches health and physical education for middle grades of Franklin County Schools.
