A March 23 wedding ceremony performed at 1:30 p.m. by the Rev. Timothy O’Neill at St. Patrick Church united Dana Marie Pace and David Paul Smelko II in marriage.

The couple received congratulations afterward during a reception at Mahoning Country Club in Girard.

The bride’s parents are Robert and Diana Pace Sr. of Liberty, and the groom’s parents are David and Darlene Smelko of Hubbard.

After a honeymoon cruise to the Bahamas, the couple live in Hubbard.

The bride wore a vintage lace silhouette gown with cap sleeves and a keyhole back. Wearing navy blue dresses were Kristin Morrison, her maid of honor; Darla Reinard, the groom’s sister; and Sarah Pace, the bride’s sister-in-law.

Serving as flower girls were Gianna Pace, niece of the bride; and Jocelyn Doughton, goddaughter of the groom.

The groom’s best man was John Doughton III, and his groomsmen were Cory Reinard, his brother-in-law; and Robert Pace Jr., the bride’s brother.

The bride’s nephew, Dante Pace, participated as ring bearer. Serving as ushers were Tyler Williams, cousin of the bride; and Jim Carano.

Mrs. Smelko graduated from Bryan University with a degree in personal training. She works for Rich Chiropractic Clinic in Hubbard as a chiropractic assistant.

Her husband owns and operates Smelko Elite Lawn Care in Hubbard.
