Feds indict Farrell man on drug charges


PITTSBURGH

A federal grand jury has indicted a Farrell, Pa., resident on narcotics charges.

The four-count indictment, returned Tuesday, alleges Travis W. Black, 27, conspired with others between August 2010 and November 2012 to distribute cocaine and distributed cocaine on Sept. 1 and Oct. 29 and 31, 2010.

The maximum sentence Black could receive is 30 years in prison and a $2 million fine, the U.S. attorney said.

The case was investigated by the Mercer County Drug Task Force and the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office.
