Amanda Clayton, Ryan McCallister set Aug. 17 rite

Amanda Clayton, daughter of Michael and Christine Clayton, all of Canfield, and Ryan McCallister of Canfield, son of Delbert Jr. and Christine McCallister of Salem, are engaged.

The couple’s parents are announcing plans for the wedding, set for 5 p.m. Aug. 17 at The Lake Club in Poland, where a reception will follow. Invitations will be extended.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree. She is employed by Homes for Kids Inc./Child and Family Solutions in Niles as a community psychiatric supportive treatment worker.

The prospective groom, who earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Akron, is a probation officer for the Columbiana County Adult Probation Department in Lisbon.
