Scouts are sponsoring a clothing drive

STRUTHERS

Boy Scout Troop and Venturing Crew 101 are hosting a used clothing drive all month. Containers have been placed at the site of the former Struthers Credit Union, 80 Elm St.

The Scouts are working with clothingdrivefundraiser.com and will receive a monetary donation based on the total weight collected, which will help fund yearly programs and activities.

Donated items can include clothing for all ages, shoes, purses, bags, hats, accessories, blankets, sheets, quilts, towels, curtains, tablecloths, soft toys and dolls, all in good condition. Breakable items, furniture, appliances, outdoor toys, books, tapes, CDs or anything with sharp edges will not be accepted.

Donations are being accepted daily from 9 a.m. to dark. Put clothing in well-tied clean trash bags, and package shoes separately. The clothing will be donated to those in need.
