J.P. and Crystal (Chicone) Burkhart of Chandler, Ariz., announce the birth of their first child, Joseph Carmen, on March 13 at Banner Desert Medical Center in Phoenix. Their son’s grandparents are Janet and Carmen Chicone of North Lima and Dee and Joe Burkhart of Sayre, Pa. His great-grandparents are Joann Petrek of Hubbard, Toni and Carmen Chicone of Boardman, Rosemary Farrell of Wilkes-Barre, Pa, and Mary and Joe Burkhart of Sayre.

Michael and Angie (Sacramento) Kovachik of North Huntington, Pa., are announcing the birth of their first child, Jordan Michael. He was born March 21 at Excela Health Westmoreland, Greensburg, Pa. Grandparents are Bill and Mary Jo Kovachik of Boardman and Dennis and Patricia Sacramento of North Huntington. Great-grandmother is Marge Price of Youngstown.
