Kristen Lyn Melnek and Chase Anthony Colantuoni, both of Brunswick, Ohio, were united in marriage at 1:30 p.m. Oct. 6, 2012, at Christ Church Presbyterian in Youngstown.

The Rev. Ben Graves officiated.

The newlyweds received guests at the Davis Center at Fellows Riverside Gardens.

The bride is the daughter of Bob and Nancy Melnek of Austintown.

Parents of the groom are Anthony Colantuoni of Austintown and Donna Colantuoni of Hubbard.

The bride wore a strapless ivory satin gown with a sweetheart neckline. The bodice was embellished with Swarovski crystals and the ensemble was completed with a beaded cathedral train.

Jessica Crissman served as matron of honor.

Bridesmaids were Nicole Colantuoni, the groom’s sister; Heather Rostan, the bride’s cousin; Crissy Gasbarro; Carlie Sherhag; and Lindsay Pufall. The groom’s niece, Delaney Colantuoni, was flower girl.

The attendants wore black and ivory gowns.

Chris Hritz performed the duties of best man.

Groomsmen were Bob Melnek, the bride’s brother; Ben Rostan, the bride’s cousin; Tim Hanek; Stan Siedlecki; and Jason Valenti.

The bride earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Baldwin-Wallace College and a master’s degree in business administration from Tiffin University. She is a quality chemist for Columbia Chemical in Brunswick.

The groom received a bachelor’s degree in human resources management from the University of Akron. He is a human resources generalist at The GEO Group of Abraxas Youth and Family Services in Pittsburgh.

After a honeymoon to Montego Bay, Jamaica, the couple reside in Brunswick.
