ELECTION UPDATE | Voters approve Salem school renewal levy #vindyvote

LISBON — Voters have approved the 2-mill permanent improvement renewal levy for the Salem schools. With all 14 precincts reporting, the levy passed easily, 495-170.

Voters, however, defeated the 1.23-mill, 29-year bond issue for improvements to South Side Middle School in Columbiana. The vote was 680 against the bond issue and 638 for the bond issue.
