The goal is to have fun and raise awareness of what the city has to offer.

The Red Hat Society is a worldwide organization offering fun, community and empowerment for passionate, like-minded women who believe in the joys of sisterhood at any age. With their distinctive red hats and purple outfits and nearly 40,000 chapters worldwide, RHS has evolved into a pivotal social movement redefining traditional notions of aging for women approaching 50 and beyond.

Its mission is to connect women around the world and encourage them to have fun together and strengthen relationships. It is a society that celebrates life. Along the way strong bonds are developed, caring friendships and at the same time respect and visibility of women who are entering the next stage of life.
