GARDEN CLUBS

TUESDAY

Ikebana will meet at 9 a.m. at Fellows Riverside Gardens. Shirley Winkler will provide instruction sheets.

WEDNESDAY

Mahoning will meet at noon in Kidston Classroom at the Davis Center. The program will be tales and lore of the gardens by Ellen Speicher, assistant horticulture director. Hostesses are Frances Kupec and Joyce Cervone.

Men’s Garden Club will meet at 7 p.m. at Fellows Riverside Gardens. The featured speaker will be Heather Meritt, owner of Birds of Flight Sanctuary, who will show an owl, a hawk and a few other large birds. Members’ guests are welcome.

THURSDAY

St. Charles will meet at 7 p.m. in the St. Matthew Room at the Ministries Building. The speaker from Wild Birds Limited will talk about birds in our area and how to bring them to your garden.

Garden club events are published Sunday. Please submit information to the Society Department by 5 p.m. Wednesday.
