Committee prepares for children's concerts

Members of the Women’s Committee for Children’s Concerts are making final preparations for the April 11 event at Edward W. Powers Auditorium in Youngstown. Concerts will be at 9:30 and 11:30 a.m. Students in first through eighth grades will travel through the solar system by sight and sound. The “Final Frontier” selections will include music from “Star Wars,” “ET” and Holst’s “The Planets.” Dr. Jose Francisco Salgado will present a narrative on the Hubble telescope images of the galaxy.
