Women to "Rally in the Valley"

LOWELLVILLE

There will be a Women’s Rally in the Valley on April 20 at Victory Christian Center, 3899 McCartney Road. It is sponsored by Women of His Vision.

Registration will be at 8 a.m., and the event will run from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The cost is $15 and includes lunch.

“Catch the Vision” will be the topic, and speakers will be Pat Sciaretta, director of social services at Rescue Mission of Mahoning Valley; Tia Ciferno, executive director at Bella Women’s Center and owner of Draw Near Ministries; Melanie Miller, Mrs. Ohio America 2011 and Mrs. America World, youth ministries director at Salvation Army; Ray & Joan Kroc, Corps Community Center; Pastor Kathie Thomas, lead pastor with David Thomas of Victory Christian Center; Sonja Williams, outcome specialist, educator and wife of former Mayor Jay Williams; and Allison Thomas, youth worship leader since age 14 and now worship leader with her parents at Victory Christian Center.

Women of His Vision is a group of women from Columbiana, Mahoning and Trumbull counties who meet from 8 to 10 a.m. the second Saturday each month at the Dutch Haus Restaurant in Columbiana.
