Youth wrestler wins Novice Youth state title

Landon Beidelschies, a third-grader at CH Campbell, competed in the Ohio Novice Youth State Championship Feb. 10. The tournament is for first, second and third-year wrestlers and hosted 440 competitors from more than 100 different schools.

Beidelschies won the Division II, 67-pound weight class and qualified to wrestle at the prestigious Ohio Athletic Committee State Championships to be held at the Covelli Centre. This is only his second year with the Canfield Wrestling Club and he is coached by Dave Crawford and Derrick Fletcher.
