Road closures to begin Monday

Beginning Monday, state Route 165, which runs through Beaver, Goshen and Green townships in Mahoning County, will be closed east of U.S. Route 62 through late April for bridge repairs.

The detour will be Route 62 to state Route 14 to state Route 46, said a spokesman with the Ohio Department of Transportation.

The work is the beginning of $2.8 million project to resurface Routes 165, 14 and state Route 164. The project also includes various bridge repairs on all three roads. The entire project is scheduled to be completed by late September 2013.
