SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR Lt. Col. Donald E. Rasile, left, U.S. Army retired, was presented with the Military Officers Association of America Ambassador Award by Lt. Col. Michael Wisniewski, U.S. Army retired, at a recent installation banquet ceremony at Consolidated Activities Center of the Youngstown Air Force Reserve Station in Vienna. The award is presented for exemplary civic and military service to the local chapter, their community and the country. Rasile is a charter member of the Mahoning and Shenango Valleys Chapter of the MOAA, served as second vice president and is currently its historian. During his tenure, he served as the membership chairman and brought recognition to the chapter as a National Category One winner for recruiting new chapter members. He and his wife, Bonita, reside in Boardman.
