Dish Network adding 90 jobs in central Ohio

COLUMBUS (AP) — Satellite TV provider Dish Network says it plans to add 90 full-time jobs at a Columbus-area service center.

The provider says the $12-an-hour positions are being added at the Hilliard call center to meet demand for its new whole-home DVR service.

The Columbus Dispatch reports that the system — called “Hopper with Sling” — was introduced at a national electronics show in January and became available to customers last month.

Dish Network says the jobs include benefits such as medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), tuition reimbursement and free Dish TV service.

Applications are available at www.dish.com/hilliard.
