ASSOCIATIONS

American Association of University Women, Youngstown Branch, will meet at 10 a.m. April 6 in the gathering room at Park Vista, 1216 Fifth Ave., Youngstown. After a continental breakfast and business meeting, Becky Keck, Youngstown State University SMARTS Director, will present “Youngstown Has Talent.” Hostesses will be Christine White and Regina Jenkins. Mill Creek Chapter of American Business Women’s Association will have a spring enrollment event April 9 at A La Cart in Canfield. A networking session will begin at 6 p.m., and the meeting will follow at 6:30. Attorney William Kalasky will discuss estate planning. Meal will be $18.50 and will consist of roast pork, southern baked chicken, eggplant parmesan, redskin mashed potatoes with garlic, chives and sour cream, buttered corn, coleslaw, tomato, pepper and onion salad, relish trays, rolls and butter, pretzel dessert and coffee or tea. Campbell Memorial High School January and June Classes of 1948 will meet for breakfast at 8:30 a.m. Monday at Denny’s Restaurant on Route 224 in Boardman. All classmates and spouses are invited.

Vegetarians of Greater Youngstown has changed the location of its monthly potluck to First Unitarian Universalist Church, 1105 Elm St., Youngstown. Meetings are at 4 p.m. the first Sunday monthly beginning April 7. Take a vegan/vegetarian dish to share. A $3 donation will help defray rental costs. LEAGUES

Boardman-Poland Junior Women’s League will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at Glenellen, 9661 Market St., Boardman. Members are to take a new infant or toddler item such as diapers, onesies, baby wipes, clothing, pajamas, etc. for the 115th OFWC Convention in Columbus. The items will be donated to a family shelter. Plans for the spring banquet will be discussed. The league is open to all women over 18 residing in Mahoning, Trumbull or Columbiana counties.
