Upper Room to serve a benefit fundraiser

AUSTINTOWN

Upper Room Ministries, 4301 New Road, is sponsoring a benefit fundraiser at 6 p.m. April 7 for Lisa Spencer.

Entertainment will be by the McCabe Band and Neon Heart.

There will be sloppy joes, hot dogs, beverages and a bake sale.

Lisa was diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndrome in February 2008 and is in need of a bone marrow transplant. She is married with three children. All proceeds from this fundraiser will help with her expenses.
