Police investigate reported break-in

Youngstown police are investigating a reported break-in that happened Wednesday evening.

About 8:30 p.m. police responded to Glenwood Avenue just off Ferndale Avenue, where a break-in was reported.

Police were not sure Wednesday night if weapons were used.

Detectives found that the male who had broken into the home was injured by a piece of broken glass, received while he was breaking into the home.

Detectives were still working on the police report at press time; no other information was available.
