Douglas and Gretchen Lelesch of Niles are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Julie A. Lelesch of Niles, and Matthew R. Barker of Kinsman.

Parents of the future groom are Ralph and Ruth Barker of Kinsman.

The couple will be united in marriage during a wedding ceremony June 29 at Kinsman United Methodist Church. Invitations will be issued for the ceremony and a reception to follow.

The bride-elect is studying early childhood education at Youngstown State University.

The prospective groom received an associate’s degree in diesel technology from the University of North Western College in Lima, Ohio. He is employed by Trumbull County Engineers Department.
