Fist fight at Rescue Mission clothes giveaway

YOUNGSTOWN

Police are trying to determine how a free clothes giveaway at the Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley on Glenwood Avenue turned into a fist fight between two women.

A woman told police she was browsing through the clothes Tuesday when another woman began going through her basket of selected items.

The woman told the other woman she had already chosen the items, but the second woman attacked her, throwing punches and kicking.

The alleged attacker left the establishment before police arrived.
