Sunday: The Hartford native finished 21st in Sunday’s Auto Club 400 in Fontana, Calif. He earned $108,738.

Season to date: Before the race, Blaney was 30th in the Sprint Cup standings.

Next: NASCAR’s top series has a week off, then will resume racing on April 7 in Martinsville, Va., for the STP Gas Booster 500. Race time is 1 p.m. FOX will televise the race.
