Meet and greet Tuesday for possible statewide candidates

YOUNGSTOWN

Potential Democratic statewide candidates for 2014 will be at a meet-and-greet, hosted by the Mahoning County Democratic Party, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Lemon Grove, 110 W. Federal St.

The event is free and open to the public.

Those expected to attend and their potential statewide races include Cuyahoga County Executive Ed FitzGerald for governor, state Rep. John Carney of Columbus for auditor, state Sen. Nina Turner of Cleveland for secretary of state, former Hamilton County Commissioner David Pepper for attorney general, and state Rep. Connie Pillich of Montgomery for treasurer.
