St. Stephen Church was the setting of the Sept. 8, 2012, afternoon wedding of Alyson Marie Finamore of Cleveland, formerly of Boardman, and Dr. Kyle James Chepla of Cleveland. The Rev. S. Michael Franz officiated, and a reception followed at the Union Club in Cleveland.

Parents of the bride are Archie and Angela Finamore of Struthers, formerly of Boardman.

The groom’s parents are Phillip and Colleen Dawson of Pepper Pike, Ohio, and Dr. William and Sally Chepla of Wilmington, N.C.

The bride wore a gown of handmade lace and crystal beading fashioned with a modified sweetheart neckline and cap sleeves. It was completed with a sweep train.

Sister of the bride, Alyssa Finamore, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Aubrey Markota, cousin of the bride; Annie Marian; and Jaclyn Rausch. The attendants wore rosewood-colored gowns.

Ryan Chepla, the groom’s brother, performed the duties of best man. Groomsmen were Dr. Peter Bittenbender, Dr. James Davies, Dr. Eric Fornari, Dr. Jon Gozdanovic, Joseph Loessin, Kevin Piper and Dr. Eric Regula. Auburn Townes, nephew of the bride, was ring bearer.

The bride earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry at Youngstown State University and a master’s degree in anesthesia at Case Western Reserve University. She is an anesthesiologist assistant at Metro Health Medical Center in Cleveland.

The groom received a bachelor’s degree in molecular biology from Colgate University and a doctor of medicine degree from Ohio State University. He is a chief resident in plastic surgery at University Hospitals in Cleveland.

After a wedding trip to New York City, the couple reside in Cleveland.
