Kimble fourth at Grade School state meet

Last weekend, the Covelli Centre hosted the best youth wrestlers from all over Ohio, as wrestlers sixth grade and under competed at an OAC Grade School State Championship.

Austintown Wrestling Club had three wrestlers qualify for the biggest grade school state meet in Ohio.

Brock Kimble led the trio with a fourth-place finish in the Division IV (11-12 year-olds), 180-pound weight class. Kimble started the tournament with two pins before falling 8-7 to eventual champion Jamir Thomas. Three more pins got him into the match for third where he lost 4-2.

Colin Roberts (Division III, 68 pounds) went 2-2 on the weekend, and Aaron Means (Division II, 70 pounds) went 0-2.
